Roberto Carmona is Principal Consultant for Carmona Strategic Solutions (CSS). Carmona Strategic Solutions (CSS), is a results oriented professional services firm with success at corporate level sales and organizational development process. CSS has helped leaders in small business, local governments, nonprofits, universities and healthcare institutions with their strategic priorities in the areas of strategy, marketing, sales, organizational development, executive coaching and executive level recruitment projects. Roberto’s corporate experience includes serving as a strategy advisor for Sodexo’s successful bid to be the facilities management provider for Chicago Public Schools. As a result of his work with Sodexo, he joined them full time as their Director of Business Development in the Higher Education and Healthcare Technology markets.Roberto’s executive search highlights includes serving as lead consultant for the 2007 search process for the City of Chicago’s Superintendent of Police, the placement of four City College of Chicago Presidents in 2011 and the placement of numerous executives for Fortune 500 companie. His federal government experience includes overseeing national programs in areas, civil rights, workforce and economic development for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the U.S. Department of Labor in Washington DC. In 2002 Roberto received a fellowship from the National Council of La Raza (now Unidos US) and completed a master’s degree in Public Administration in 2003, from Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. He has a master’s degree in political science from Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU), and a bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University.
