Rey Rivera, President of CSI 3000, has 20+ years of experience in field operations, project management, estimating, business development, and operational management.  Today, Rey has built a heavy civil construction company with 50+ employees, over $19 million in annual revenue, and self-performing capabilities including concrete, trucking, and asphalt services. Today CSI 3000 is currently the only MBE aggregate distribution company within the state of Illinois. Rey holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of IL Springfield. He is Alumni within Goldman Sach 10,000 Small Businesses development program as well as Chicago Anchors for a Strong Economy (CASE) where CSI 3000 was named Business of the Year. Before opening the doors at CSI 3000, Rey focused his efforts not only in direct construction roles but also within advocacy roles. Rey served as Project Manager to develop and implement Contractor Training Programs at the Hispanic American Construction Industry Association (HACIA).

Rey currently serves as a Board Member for the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (IHCC). He is also part of the Business Leadership Council for the National Latino Education Institute. He served as Board President of the 18th Street Development Corporation and has been recognized as a finalist for Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award. Rey has been a driving force for equal opportunities within the business community. A longtime resident of the Pilsen community, Rey and his family focus their efforts volunteering throughout the Chicagoland area, to bring positive economic impacts.
