Aileen Ocana was born in the United States, but lived her childhood and adolescence in Michoacán, Mexico. She graduated with a Bachelor in Communications in 2000 in Mexico. In 2001, she began working with Univision Radio Chicago, as on-air personality for the four Spanish radio stations of Univision Radio Chicago. Aileen is currently on air Monday thru Friday from 4pm to 9pm on Que Buena 105.1 FM with “Erazno y La Chokolata” show and Sundays at Amor 106.7 FM. She produces and hosts “Hablando con el Cónsul” which is an hourly show and along with the Mexican Consulate that discussed significant topics related to the Mexican immigrant community. For the last 8 years, she has also produced and hosted the weekend community show “Nuestra Comunidad” which airs on all four Univision radio stations. Aside those important tasks, she is in charge of community affairs at Univision Radio Chicago which gives her the opportunity to communicate with non-profit organizations and institutions that together work for the benefit of the community. She participates and volunteers in cause related community events. One of her goals as a professional. is to help the audience by sharing information that is important to them.
